Hot Day - Humid and DUSTY
Look outside, it's hot and DUSTY...you go out, you breathe in all the dust, unavoidable. wow...Do you know that there are 3 classification of dusts and they are (1) Respirable Dust (2) Inhalable Dust and (3) Total Dust...the third is the most dangerous of the 3. Dusts are a thousand times smaller than a pin head and flow with the air current around you. Even in an operating theater, there will be dusts, yea unavoidable. Dusts get into your sinuses (your nose), your airways (your throat) and down to your lungs. They are the carriers of bacteria and viruses. During hot days, it's better to stay indoors to reduce your exposure to dusts.
Although our organs are made to filter most of the dusts we inhale (e.g. our mucous membrane trap the dusts and reason why you throw out thick phlegm from your throat in the morning), you are not protected 100%.
