Could Sleep cause your mood swings?
Sleep can make your day happy or sad. Sleep requirements vary from person to person, some people are revitalized after a short sleep whilst others will wake up feeling lousy after 8 hours of sleep. Sleep enables the body and mind to rejuvenate, re energize, and restore.
Sleep deprivation is bad for health. The average sleep-deprived individual may experience impaired performance, irritability, lack of concentration, and daytime drowsiness. They are less alert, attentive, and unable to concentrate effectively. Additionally, because sleep is linked to restorative processes in the immune system, sleep deprivation in a normal adult causes a biological response similar to the body fighting off an infection.
So do make sure you have enough sleep...a glass of warm milk can make you sleep soundly. Try it!
