Going overboard with the KPI

Just because the PM brought in the KPI which is really nothing new but a good step forward to check many of our lacklustre civil servants, some quarters in Malaysia are going overboard with this adage of KPI's. To subject political parties and members holding office to KPI's as suggested by some is sheer nonsense to me! What a waste of time politicking on such thoughts.
